Jezebel's gotten a few complaints about the three photos of Regent Cheney swearing at new Senators. Some of Our Leader's supporters found it confusing. So here is The Pet Goat approach to photojournalism, using a composite created from the same three frames.
See Dick. See Dick swear. See Dick ask Liddy to swear back. Swear, swear, swear.
See John. See John watch. Do you see John? Click the pic to see. Now you see Dick and John.
But Dick does not see John. He can not tell a lie. If he lies the terrorists win. John gets Dick's job. No, no, no. 9/11, 9/11, 9/11.
For our French readers, Cheney is administering the oath of office to new Senators, including Elizabeth Dole, on January 7th, 2003. Dole was escorted by both her husband, former Senator Bob Dole, and the Senior Senator from North Carolina. Can't remember his name, it's not important. But here's a new picture of him having breakfast with The Regent.
Update: It's a grand strategy, and The Regent used it again! He called Edouards "Senator Gone" and noted that he, Regent Cheney, presided over the Senate every Tuesday. Some Frenchmen over at DailyKos have discovered that The Regent was in an undisclosed location doing hard work so often that... he's only presided over the Senate twice. Yes, in four years. Now, that's dedication! Also a chance to bring Our Savior into this: The picture above has Liddy Dole being sworn in using Elizabeth Edwards' bible. But Regent Cheney is positive he has never met Edwards before.
