Treason Everywhere

Southwest Treason: After Our Leader's awe-inspiring performance in the first of three grudge-matches, some of his supporters are finding that it's hard work being a winner.

Jezebel has had her doubts about John McCain, and it seems for good reason. Marshall Wittmann, one of his key aides, has deserted, offering fealty to The Pretender:

"This unreconstructed Bull Moose will run with the donkey in November."

Jezebel doesn't even want to think about what a bull moose will do when running with donkeys. Wittmann's disloyalty was shocking, as he asserted:

that President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney have "waged an unprecedentedly cynical and divisive campaign."

Wow, he says that like it's a bad thing.

Global Test Treason: A bunch of Frenchified foreign service retirees also swore their support to The Pretender. Foreign Service, the name kind of says it all, n'est-ce pas? 180 ambassadors cannot compare to the Coalition of the Willing, which still includes Poland.

Font Treason: After we gave CBS the butt-whupping they deserved, someone had to point out that the White House released not just another TANG memo, but a proportionally-spaced TANG memo from 1971 after the fuss had died down. (Of course they released it on a Friday afternoon!) And some French professor thinks the Burkett documents were printed by a typewriter as well. Our Morale Division dealt with that disloyalist appropriately.

Once again, kudus to the Ministry of Information for keeping a lid on this story as effectively as it did, and to the 101st Keyboarders for boots on the ground before the 60 Minutes broadcast was over.

And no one's going to notice this inconvenient memo, because we've got their undies in a bunch by claiming Kerry cheated at the debates.
