The Bush Doctrine at Work

Once again we acknowledge the foresight of Our Dear Leader for his brilliant management of the Iraqi Liberation. His powerful, dare I say it, manly doctrine of pre-emption not only insured the submission of all Iraqians, but opened the door to domestic policies along the same lines.

French-Colonial liberal whiner Bob Herbert has an item out that, if you read past his hand-wringing over trivial matters such as 15th Amendment rights or good-ol'-boys doing quality inspections on voters, shows Our Leader's Smarter Brother taking that pre-emption ball and running with it. And from the same liberal, liberal, liberal media owned by a bunch of Jesus-denying denizens of Blue York City, a piece showing Our Dear Leader's loyal troops using the selfsame doctrine to ensure in advance that troublemakers stay away from his Coronation.

Ms. Lieberman insisted that the men "didn't have any plans to participate in the violence, but what's so disturbing about all this is the pre-emptive nature - stopping them from participating in a protest before anything even happened."

The three men "were really shaken and frightened by all this," she said, "and they got the message loud and clear that if you make plans to go to a protest, you could be subject to arrest or a visit from the F.B.I."

And a tip of the hat to Our Leader's minions for such an outstanding job of pre-emption on their own. Their tireless work has ensured that any questions Our Leader faces from the rabble will be helpful ones. Providing people of quality is a demanding job; only 300 small-business leaders and 2,300 serfs made the cut for Our Leader's showcase, while a mob of 40,000 ran amok in the wake of the dastardly Pretender.
