Gov. Brownback, a Prostitute, and a Dead Cat

Dear Dr. Denny,

I was shocked to see the twitterwebtube telemail in which one of your students criticized Gov. Brownback. Thankfully, it was caught by the Governor's crack Office of Thought Compliance and immediately sent to the young lady's principal, Dr. Krawitz.

The Principal's hour long lecture, demand for an apology and presentation of approved talking points was a good response. One wonders, however, if the real problem, the school district's failure to teach children to bow obsequiously before their elected betters, is getting lost in the immediate drama.

Emma Sullivan isn't the only scoffthoughter in the Shawnee Mission School District. After only a few minutes of research, I found another, Kayla Richardson, a 6-year-old kindergartner at Prairie Elementary. Recently, she drew this picture of Gov. Brownback and a prostitute angrily denouncing God by throwing a dead cat into Heaven.



I hope Prairie Elementary principal Scott Merfen goes to work on little Kayla immediately. I suggest employing a proven dissidence correction tool like pepper spray, but I suppose a little waterboarding will do in a pinch.

After that, you need to deal with the bigger, district-wide problem by instituting a "good servitude" curriculum. I hear there's some great stuff coming out of Pyongyang SD#3.
