In their faces

As we prepare to take our war against terrorism and WMD's to Iranistan, a nation led by the brutal Ayatollah Adolph Osama bin Sadam, Our Leader is looking to the past as he makes his plans for that nation's future. Reza Pahlavi, son of the late Iranian Shah, is being touted as the man Our Leader has chosen to serve us as Iranistan's new authoritarian precursor to democracy.

I like the idea of using the Shah's son. Not only are we going to overthrow their democratically elected government, we're going to replay the 1953 installation of his father by the CIA . It's the kind of talk-radio-in-your-face act this administration seems to enjoy so much. It's like appointing Gale Norton as the steward of our public lands or allowing Ken Lay to pick the chief electrical power regulator. It's the kind of arrogant display of muscle that thoroughly demoralizes those who would think of attempting to thwart Our Leader's will. Sure, the rest of the world will despise us for it but screw them. We are the hegemon.

We should think about doing the same thing in our own hemisphere. It would really show those commies in Brazil, Venezuela, and Argentina if we placed a few Somozas, Stroessners, and Pinochets in power.
