These are my people

There is nothing better than opening up the newspaper and finding a well reasoned letter like the one reprinted below. Mr. Copeland is my kind of person. We are the backbone of the Republican party, and by extension, this great nation.

Radical Commies

To the editor — I am so tired of hearing all about the free speech the Hollywood elitists, liberal leftists, socialists, communists, and America-haters are supposed to have.

I have not once said they don't have the right to speak. However, I also have the right to respond to what they say. When I say I'm no longer going to listen to the Dixie Chicks, or watch movies that certain leftist-communists are in, or listen to certain commie-leftist female Jewish singers, I am bashed because I am a "right wing whacko, Ditto Head, cold-hearted extremist." I am said to be denying these "Americans" their right to speech.

No! I'm not! But, it seems these radical leftist commies are saying that only they have the right to free speech. I, as a conservative, do not. Because what I say is something they don't agree with. So, I don't have that freedom to respond to what the Chicks say, what Tim Robbins says, or anyone else. I will not support these people any more! They can't force me to! That is my right!

Liberals say Fox News and talk radio are conservatively biased. And CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS and various national newspapers aren't? Liberals are just mad that they don't have control over every form of media! At least Fox News actually presents both sides! And, why it is the most watched cable news network?

People are tired of the liberal point of view. Maybe that's why the liberals keep losing seats in Congress!
