A 2000 profile from the Washington Post confirms what Our Leader's vassals and serfs have already figured out: Even as a recent college graduate, he was top-rated in Leadership (if you ignore the pushy 5% who scored higher). He was motivated; making the trip to Ellington Field only two weeks before graduation to ensure he could join the National Guard. And he was practical, scoring no higher on the pilot's aptitude test than he needed in order to enroll.
These traits continue to serve Our Leader today in the face of constant assault from the voracious Liberal Media. Scurrilous tales of incomplete service in Texas and Alabama, boring-beyond-belief analyses of long-hidden or hopefully shredded records, crying about perfectly understandable absences or missing doctor visits (Our Leader was in the best of health and did not need their services like ordinary soldiers)... Will it ever end? The latest left-wing libel is a claim that Our Leader wore a medal without permission! This is a lie so breathtaking one wonders how anyone could have the nerve to utter it. The portrait at right came from Our Leader's father's own Presidential Library! So there is no doubt about this photo whatsoever! The medal in question, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award (shown below) is not in the photo as they falsely claim! Look at the detail of the photo; the disputed ribbons are grey and white! That should settle that!
Given the tone of these attacks, it is understandable that Our Leader refuses to recognize The Pretender's demands for a discussion of issues. Emperors do not deign to meet with the rabble, and every day The Pretender is not jailed for his revolutionary language is all the gift he deserves. A suggestion: stay home and pray.
Thanks to John Arovosis at AMERICABlog (that sounds like a very patriotic and manly site).
