Department of Book Reports: Awards Edition

It's award season and it's nice to see some of my favorite books getting a nod.

The 63rd Annual Edgar® Awards Banquet will be held on Thursday April 30, and the winners will be announced. Two titles from the Department of Book Reports are nominated, The Prince of Bagram Prison by Alex Carr, and Sins of the Assassin, by Robert Ferrigno.



The Pacific Northwest Booksellers announce the 2009 Awards, and Garth Stein's Art of Racing in the Rain is a winner! Check out the final comment on that one. It's a well deserved award.

These books and many others are available at Jackson Street Books and your favorite independent bookstore.
