After watching the Olberman clips of Coretta Scott King's funeral, I can't help but think about MLK's struggle. In 1967, no one could have believed that four presidents would attend Mrs. King's funeral.
My joy is tempered however by the certainty that the appearance of at least two of those presidents was done more for political reasons than for a shared respect for Dr. King's vision. We've come a long way as a nation, but there is still much to be done.
