Updating an earlier post
Last week, in a post titled "
Shooting the Breeze with Yahweh," I shared the section of the Mormon scriptural work, "The Doctrine and Covenants," in which God became angry with William W. Phelps for overturning a canoe in which Joseph Smith was traveling. I thought Brother Phelps' name was familiar, but couldn't recall where I heard it. Just now, I remembered that he wrote a hymn about the sun around which God's planet orbits, "
If You Could Hie To Kolob."
