Post's Grove right to attack kid
Dear Mr. Grove,
I'm a big fan of your gossip column. Nobody dishes out the dirt better than you. Hopefully, the folks on the Pulitzer committee will reward you for your brilliance someday. You deserve it.
I recently read that Tim Robbins took you to task for embarrassing his 13 year old son in your column. Apparently, the kid didn't like it when you wrote that his elderly grandmother thought he was "brainwashed." You know how 13 year olds are. Every little thing embarrasses them.
Robbins thought it was inappropriate for you to try to dig up dirt on his family by interviewing his elderly mother-in-law. I don't know why he thinks that. It's not like when Connie Chung interviewed Newt Gingrich's mom. That was wrong because Chung forced Newt's mother embarrass the Speaker of the House. You didn't do the same thing. You interviewed Sarandon's elderly mother to dig up dirt on liberals who dared question Our Leader. You were doing your duty as a patriot.
The 13 year old boy may be embarrassed, but if his parents want to speak out against Our Leader's policies, he deserves to pay the price. As Colonel John M. Chivington once said, "nits make lice." If the young boy isn't attacked in the press now, he may very well grow up to question a future president. We can't have that.
Heterosexually yours,
Gen. JC Christian, Patriot
PS. What does Anne Shroeder do exactly?
