Stamping out tolerance wherever it raises its ugly head

Dear. Sec. Cohen and Ms. Stonesifer,

I don't know if you are aware that yesterday, CBS courageously refused to air ads promoting tolerance. As Viacom boardmembers, I hope that you will support this move by your company to further marginalize homosexuals in our society.

According to Raw Story, the United Church of Christ tried to place an ad which invited sodomites to attend their church. CBS rejected the ad, noting in a written statement:

Because this commercial touches on the exclusion of gay couples and other minority groups by other individuals and organizations, and the fact the Executive Branch has recently proposed a Constitutional Amendment to define marriage as a union between a man and a woman, this spot is unacceptable for broadcast on the [CBS and UPN] networks.

It must fill you with tremendous pride to know that you sit at the head of an organization that hates homosexuals so viscerally that it instituted discriminatory policies even before enough votes are gathered in Congress to pass the Homosexual Discrimination Amendment. You're way ahead of the curve.

Unfortunately, CBS didn't stand up to the desegregationist policies of liberal so-called churches in the fifties and sixties, and look where it got us. Even in in Southern Baptist churches, brown people sit with white people without anyone batting an eye--they even share water fountains.

Thank God CBS isn't making the same mistake this time around.

Heterosexually yours,

Gen. JC Christian, patriot.

Update: How to contact CBS management, Viacom (CBS' parent company) boardmembers and GE (NBC's parent company) directors.

Update two, too: Chuck Currie, a UCC minister, comments on the controversy. Readers should be warned that the Red Guard of the Glorious Christian Cultural Revolution has placed UCC on its list of churches that worship Beatitudes Jesus, the Prince of Peace, and therefore it's members cannot be referred to as Christians.
