Celebrating the Pope's Suffering

The General joins the Vatican in celebrating the Pope's painful suffering. I agree with the Vatican newspaper that his lingering torment shows us that "the bed of pain" has become "the cathedral of life" and Cardinal Renato Martino who joyfully exclaimed that it's "a real example of how to accept human suffering."

Although like many God-fearing Christians, the General believes that the Catholic Church is the Whore of Babylon, I tip my helmet to Curia for using the lingering, painful death of the Pope as an opportunity to strike out against the Satanic forces behind the "Death with Dignity" movement. It is far better that a man or women endure the tortures of the deathbed than to give into the temptation to end the suffering.
