Why do people not realize that we are paying them our money so they can deny us treatment? Do you have to be a rocket scientist to understand that in the for-profit insurance model, every claim paid is a business loss, and every claim denied is a profit?
I think it is being gulliberal and believing the big lies. I thought I was in good shape, after all, I had insurance. Then I got really sick, I didn't know they could/would deny my prescriptions and procedures and literally kill me with copays I could no longer afford. Nobody told me or maybe I just wasn't listening, maybe I just thought that stuff only happened to "other" people, I don't know, but I got religion now.
