The Breitbart Book Club

I've never been a fan of books. They're full of words, ideas, and other seditious things. But when I heard that ACORN slayer Andrew Breitbart was editing the classics I knew I'd have to pick up a few. Take a look at these descriptions, and you'll see what I mean.

Huckleberry Finn
by Mark Twain
Edited by Andrew Breitbart
The story of Jim, a "boy" who was too lazy to work.

A Christmas Carol
by Charles Dickens
Edited by Andrew Breitbart
The story of Ebenezer Scrooge, class war martyr.

To Kill a Mockingbird
by Harper Lee
Edited by Andrew Breitbart
Bob Ewell is persecuted for championing traditional confederate values.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
by Ken Kesey
Edited by Andrew Breitbart
Nurse Ratchet fights to maintain order in a permissive society.

And now for something completely different: Pastor Anderson issues a fatwah (the good kind) against hats.

And something else: Ken Ham victimized by communist-influenced homeschoolers.

  1. Thanks to Pastor Anderson the Hat Question is back in play, is it? It has flummoxed many a theologian over the millennia, and will no doubt perturb the faithful for decades to come!

  2. I gotta say, it's time to dump Seattle Dan and Tammy and let Breichfart -- or one of his ghostbreiters -- to do Teh Gen'l's weekly book reviews. Because the poor guy just doesn't get enough exposure in the librul meeja.

OTOH, I read one of the Breit-sized editions of popular books recently, "The Godfather." Only, parts of it had been edited out. I mean specifically, the scene that was on page 28 of the paperback version. Any of you who were a sweaty-palmed boy passing around the book in the early 1970s will remember that scene, right Sonny?

We'll try dumping haloscan and see how it works.
