Thanks for the Driveway Moments CD and Terry Gross book (Annie), the Wobblies book (Timothy) and the Sarah Vowell book (Bill). I always feel a little humbled when someone shows their appreciation for Jesus' General this way. Thanks.

I hope my letter to the Counterintelligence Field Activity (CIFA) didn't prompt all of this giving. Your comments and prayers are enough. CIFA, however, is the one reader of this blog who should do more. If the Department of Defense can give billions to Haliburton and millions to the Lincoln Group and Iraqi journalists, they can buy me a Zenith P60W26P 60" Plasma Flat-Panel HDTV and a Sony DAV-FX100W Wireless Home Theater Dream System. After all, like the Iraqi journalists, I'm printing good things about the Iraq Phase of Our Eternal Struggle to Resubjugate Brown People.

As I write this, the TV and sound system remain unpurchased on my Amazon wish list. It's almost enough to make me lose my faith in Red American style capitalism. Don't they understand that I'm a crony too.
