Things Vox Day learned from the Nazis

Joseph Farah
World Net Daily

Dear Mr. Farah,

I was surprised today when I reread Vox Day's latest WND column. On Monday, the third paragraph read:

Not only will it work, but one can easily estimate how long it would take. If it took the Germans less than four years to rid themselves of 6 million Jews, many of whom spoke German and were fully integrated into German society, it couldn't possibly take more than eight years to deport 12 million illegal aliens, many of whom don't speak English and are not integrated into American society.

Now, it looks like this:

It couldn't possibly take more than eight years to deport 12 million illegal aliens, many of whom don't speak English and are not integrated into American society. In fact, the hysterical response to the post-rally enforcement rumors tends to indicate that the mere announcement of a massive deportation program would probably cause a third of that 12 million to depart for points south within a week.

After a little research, I learned that you were the person who had editing it. Apparently, you were uncomfortable with the method he used for calculating the period of time it would take to cleanse our nation of undocumented brown people. I guess I can understand that. In these politically correct times, it's unwise to look to Nazi Germany's national purification program as a model for detaining and shipping large numbers of undesirables.

Sadly, Day doesn't understand that. When confronted by the ultra-PC, the-holocaust-was-a-bad-thing crowd, he responded by writing, "So, there are no lessons to be learned from the National Socialists?" Although such a response might be met with a chorus of approving amens in Day's beloved Southern Baptist church, it doesn't play well to a more diverse audience.

You know better. You removed the reference to Nazi Germany, but kept Day's holocaust-derived calculation and thus solved your political correctness problem.

Unfortunately, now you have a new problem. There's no longer a basis for Day's 12 million deportations in 8 years calculation. It looks like he just pulled that figure out of his ass. You need to come up with another basis for that figure. Perhaps the removal of the Cherokee to Oklahoma -- popularly known as the Trail of Tears -- might serve that purpose.

Heterosexually yours,

Gen. JC Christian
