Favorite Covers

The reviews are in on last week's love songs post:



OK, so my Inner Frenchman is a romantic who's a sucker for the kind of sentimentality that rots teeth. He's French dammit.

This week, let's do best covers.

Let's start out with one of my favorites: Gov't Mule doing the Beatles' She Said, She Said (sorry about the quality, it's the best I could find):

I got two kinds of responses to my use of Ivan Neville's version of Fortunate Son by Credence Clearwater in my Fighting First Family video. People either loved it or they really hated it. I had to cut some of the best parts of the song out of my video due to length considerations. Here's the whole thing:
