Why aren't there more people like the ones quoted below who possess the intelligence needed to fully understand the ramifications of passing the hate crimes bill:

If a sexual pervert were having sex with my dog (bestiality) in my backyard and I did something violent to stop the pervert, I could be charged and convicted of committing a hate crime and would receive a longer prison sentence than if the pervert had gone next door and beaten up a little old lady.

That's right. You could be charged with a hate crime if you kicked your mule's lover's ass.

When Obama signs the hate crimes bill, people like this West Virginia woman will become criminals:
