Department of Corrections

From the pages of the Washington Post:
A Nov. 26 article in the District edition of Local Living incorrectly said a Public Enemy song declared 9/11 a joke. The song refers to 911, the emergency phone number.

  3. Not the first rewriting or erroneous interpretation. Does the General know Andy Schlafly (Phyllis' boy, that is) is attempting to rewrite the bible to remove the "liberal parts". TS

  5. Curse that Obama bin Biden and his Islamoplanecrashyfascism! Now we're gonna have to change the emergency phone number because he ruined it for everyone. I suggest shifting it to "0-0-0" like it is in Australia. Try having Islamipiratofascists hijack a liquefied natural gas tanker and blow it up in the Houston shipping channel next to an oil storage depot on THAT date, Obama!

Oh, wait -- did I say something before I shoulda said it?

  8. Well, Sir, this just goes to prove that the Public Enemy are prophets, since the song was released in 1990.

  9. Seriously, I've always had this belief that 9/11 ocurred on, well, 9/11 largely because of additional impact of having it on the emergency number. The country didn't overreact because the country was hit by a horribly symbolic destruction of a building. It overeacted because it was an *emergency*!
