Dear Officer Pomper,
I couldn't agree more with your column, "Just Shut Up and Be a Good Little Socialist," in the Seattle Police Guild Guardian. There is absolutely no reason for police officers to participate in diversity programs. As you note below, such "socialist" programs are an affront to our most cherished values:The city, using its Race and Social Justice Initiative (RSJI), continues its assault on traditional and constitutional American values such as self reliance, equal justice, and individual liberty [and segregation and disenfranchisement]. But more to our immediate concern, the city is inflicting its socialist policies directly on the Seattle Police Department.Is it not enough for the socialists on the city council that the Seattle Police Department promotes diversity though its Shoot-a-Native, Punch-a-Black-Teen and Beat-a-Mexican programs? Apparently the answer is no.
Next, they'll be asking you to wait a whole second before summarily executing a Native American carver for the crime of carving while intoxicated. Maybe they'll even go so far as to demand that you don't say things like "I'm going to beat the fucking Mexican piss out of you" to a potential perp before you stomp on his head.
But, as your colleague, Officer Powell, notes, the socialists at City Hall have already denied you one of your most important policing tools: the ability to address citizens as "motherfuckers, "bitches," and "niggas."
When will this embracing diversity oppression end?

ReplyDeleteIn a 'union' rag, a cop is complaining about socialism? If he was a red-blooded American, shouldn't he be union busting rather than participating in socialist propaganda?
Does he complain about a socialist group paid for by the citizens (collectively) to uphold the law in their name?
Shouldn't he be out on a private security gig protecting the worthy (ie; those who can affort private security) rather than being part of the big government waste problem?
Seriously, I question this cop's true belief in the American way. I think he is a communist plant.
PS. Communism slaughtered a hundred *gazillion* people in the 20th century, not just 100 million.

ReplyDeleteWhy is it that when certain Americans complain about 'socialism', it isn't because they have the vaguest clue what that really means, but more like a spoiled kid complaining about parental discipline?
All of civilization is build on socialism in various degrees; even something as rudimentary as language couldn't exist without social co-operation.
As for Officer Pomper, I'll say this: today there will be a service for a police officer killed in the line of duty 3 days ago (he was run down with a snow plow truck). The city anticipates filling the Metro Toronto Convention Centre with at least 10,000 mourners today, because we value the 'socialist' effort our police do (ie as they serve and protect the public).
Without suggesting that our officer was without flaws, or that the people of Seattle aren't grateful for the work most police do, but would 10,000+ come to mourn a lame-brain goon like Officer Pomper?

ReplyDeleteI'd like to point out that I know many policeman personally, and several of them are not cross-dressers.
Isn't it the height of insensitivity to force such wuss ass concepts like cultural diversity and equal justice down the throats of our finest jackbooted gendarmes.
