White Men Invented Rap
Posted by

Here's another example of the persecution of the white Christian male. No one acknowledges that a white man, Red Sovine, invented rap music.
Along about 3:51 into the "Teddy Bear" rap Ole Red says "you can bet I took my turn riding that little crippled kid" shortly after turning his "hot load" around to make the meet up. Who knew that Red was OG?......just sayin
Verdammit You 'Tude schwinehunds are getting all persnikity about "copyright" and "intellectual property" and "lack of permission" so try it on vimeo instead, because on the internet there is always 'more than one way to skin a cat' My dad used to say that, and I always wondered what happened to all the strays in our neighbourhood and where he got the ingredients for that hossenfeffer he used to cook on Sundays.
General Sir,
ReplyDeleteI must confess a soft spot for rednecks with a soft spot. Is that wrong?

ReplyDeleteor better yet, this version by Mr. Waits, which I made specially to mention here -since no one else has posted it - and because it was about freakin' time I learned to use imovie. You tube will make me take it down soon, so watch it while you can.
ReplyDeleteGeneral, Sir:
